The tenth annual Holiday Shopping Bus Tour is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, and will depart from the La Grande Town Center at 8:00 am with pick-up stops at the Imbler Post Office at 8:15 am and Elgin Community Bank at 8:30 am. The holiday tour ticket is $14.00 per person and you may reserve your seat by calling Sondra Lozier at 541-426-3271 or 888-323-3271. There will be coffee and hot chocolate to warm you as you check in and board your Holiday Sleigh for a day of shopping in some of “The Best Little Shops in Oregon.” You will enjoy a Jingle Snack Pak of homemade sweet bread, fruit, cheese, and juice while visiting with your friends on the scenic trip to Wallowa valley. The first stop will be in historic Enterprise where you will be welcomed by sponsored shops all decked out for the Christmas season. After spending the morning browsing Enterprise’s downtown shops, you will board your Holiday Sleigh for Joseph and delight in the many specialty stores, and be greeted by shopkeepers sharing the holiday spirit.

Before each stop, there will be a drawing for $20.00 gift certificates that may only be used at sponsored businesses, watch for the “Welcome Holiday Bus Tour Shoppers” sign in their windows. Your Goodie Bag will have a special list of sponsoring shops throughout the towns. Also, included is a $4.00 lunch coupon that can be used when dining at sponsored eatery’s. Be sure to stop by the Joseph Community Center for the Christmas in Joseph Holiday Bazaar and visit with artists and crafter’s that have seasonal items including fresh evergreen wreaths, homemade candy, baked goods, and many handmade items.

Your Holiday Sleigh will depart from Joseph at 5:00 pm for your return trip home to Union County.

Santa's Train - Come ride the Santa Train on December 14, 2008 in Wallowa. Train departs at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 1:00pm. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. The price is a can of food per person for the food bank. The train can carry 180 people per run. Santa will be on the train. For information and reservations, please call (541) 886-3200. Reservations are required, so please call early. ALL ABOARD!!!

We run the bazaar 2 separate weekends. Some vendors attend both weekends and some only one or the other. We have both hand crafted and commercial exhibitors. There will be door prizes and Christmas music both weekends. On the 28th and the 29th, Santa Paws will be at the Bazaar. Santa will be there for photos for children, adults and of course our most beloved pets! We have 30 vendors attending each weekend from within Wallowa County and also out of state vendors like ""Lavendor ""R"" Us"".
