Bowlby Arts Group and Music Alliance Present A Drumming Workshop with
Yasmin (Caroline Edwards)

On Saturday March 13, at 10 am to 1:30 pm at Stage One, Yasmin, also
known as Caroline Edwards will teach a hand drum workshop featuring
rhythms of the Middle East. Rock & Roll, Pop, Salsa, Rap, Rhythm &
Blues, American and Mexican Country Western all have roots in Middle
Eastern rhythms. Eastern rhythms are unique and exotic. A “MUST” class
for the serious percussionist and dancer. The cost of the workshop is
$30, which includes handouts. Stage One is located at 117 ½ E. Main St.
in Enterprise, Oregon.

Yasmin has performed and taught for 32 years. She teaches throughout the
Pacific NW and has traveled extensively in the Middle East to learn the
rhythms. She currently teaches with Lewis & Clark State College
Outreach Programs and is a dance consultant with U of I's Dance Dept.
She is also the lead percussionist for Hejira and Ek Balaam bands.

4 loaner drums available on a first come first serve basis. Any kind of
