| Details: The Wild Wheeled West- This year’s route takes riders where the West is still wild. Starting amid the old-time ambience of Elgin, we’ll roll through the Grande Ronde Valley to Union, follow Catherine Creek and loop to Baker City, meander with the Powder River on the way to Halfway, dip down into Hells Canyon along the Snake River, climb up and over the Wallowas to Wallowa Lake, explore Joseph and Enterprise, and then head through high meadows and narrow canyons back to Elgin. |

8th Annual Quilt Shop HOP THE Blues! |

| Details: Gather your quilting friends and "Hop" from shop-to-shop in northeastern Oregon and southeastern Washington, during the 8th Annual 'Hop the Blues.' Visit all 11 shops September 29 - October 4, 2008 to be eligible for the awesome grand prize of $1100 in gift certificates, ($100 from each shop), and many other prizes.
