Welcome to beautiful Wallowa County, Northeast Oregon

The awe inspiring diversity of landscapes of the Wallowa Mountains and the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway in Northeast Oregon will hold a place in your heart. Wallowa County’s friendly communities are eager to greet you and share this wonderful destination.

Wallowa County has one of Oregon’s premier state parks – Wallowa Lake State Park. Here are some suggestions for camping – See further listings below for more RV options. Wallowa Lake State Park & Camping! Do you like to camp? The Wallowa Mountains has a lot to offer. The Wallowa Lake State Park has year-round amenities: 121 full hookup sites; 89 tent sites; 2 yurts; a rustic cabin; RV dump site; showers, and laundry facilities. For the day traveler you can picnic down by Wallowa Lake next door to the Wallowa Lake Marina. Contact Wallowa Lake State Park, 800-452-5687 (reservations) or 541-432-8855 (questions).

US Forest Service Campgrounds! For the person or family that wants to truly camp in the backcountry there are many primitive campsites. Just be sure to check ahead for the current list of open campgrounds. Contact FS Wallowa Mountain Visitor Center, 541-426-5546.

Description: We will provide you with a quality hunting area. The majority of our hunts are Drop and Supplied Camps. Our groups are all packed in on the three days prior to the opening day of the season and packed out no later than the third day after the season ends. We will provide you with a packer that is knowledgeable and capable of getting you and your gear packed in safely. Some of our camps do not have fresh running water and we will pack water to you in the water jugs that you provide. In the summer we do 3-7 day pack trips in the Eagle Cap Wilderness in July - September, and in May and June we pack into the Hells Canyon area. Trips are fully customized to each group.
